Crystalline, refined and very elegant on the palate, this is a dense, round, intense and highly complex, firmly structured and very persistent Heiligenstein whose only problem is that most of the consumers will probably drink it too soon. I understand the reason, but I recommend holding back as many bottles as possible for a later divertimento. This is a great Heiligenstein, and it was stable over a period of two weeks. 13.5% alcohol. The attack on the palate is vibrantly fresh and still nervous (vinified in an old five-hectoliter oak vat), but the wine develops a dense, complex, finely salty and structured mid-palate with a long, intense and persistent finish that reveals fine tannins and characteristic salinity. This is an impressive Renner. 13.5% alcohol.
