With a legacy dating back to the 13th century, Valdespino is renowned for crafting Sherries that combine tradition, precision and a strong sense of terroir. The house is particularly known for its focus on single-vineyard wines and traditional production methods.

Each wine in our Valdespino portfolio is selected with care. The estate works with some of the finest albariza soils in Jerez, especially from the Macharnudo Alto vineyard. Through meticulous vineyard management and traditional aging in solera systems, Valdespino creates wines that are both expressive and distinctive.

Valdespino characteristics

Valdespino wines are defined by their complexity, freshness and authenticity. The Fino and Manzanilla styles typically show notes of almond, citrus, saline minerality and yeast-driven complexity, while the Amontillado and Oloroso wines offer richer profiles with nuts, dried fruit, spice and depth. Across the range, the wines combine structure with remarkable balance.

The estate is particularly known for its Inocente Fino, one of the few single-vineyard Finos, as well as for Tío Diego Amontillado and other aged expressions.
