The white 2022 Blanco de Parcela Fuente de las Hontanillas is pale, subtle, elegant and insinuating and a little shy and closed at first. It has a sensational palate that is fresh and balanced, chalky and tasty with minerality. It has a little higher alcohol this ripe and dry year, but still 13%, with a very low pH (3.04) and very high acidity (6.92 grams) that give it a sharp personality. It's a blend of Verdejo and Albillo that matured in barrel for 11 months, but the oak is unnoticeable. 7,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2023. By Luis Gutierrez June 2024
