The 2004 AVAN Concentracion was aged for 12 months in French oak. Nearly opaque, this purple-colored wine exhibits aromas of toast, vanilla, lavender, blueberry, and blackberry liqueur. It has greater depth and richness than its sibling as well as more structure. Give it 2-4 years to evolve and drink it through 2017. (JM, 2/2007)
