The most structured of the Signature releases. the deep ruby/purple-colored 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Signature (65% Grenache. 15% Mourvedre. 12% Syrah and the balance other permitted varieties) is still backward and tight. Giving up classic notes of black raspberries. black cherry. crushed rocks. pepper and garrigue. this full-bodied. concentrated. pure and fabulously textured red needs to be forgotten for another 2-3 years.
