The crimson red hue of this wine reveals a deep center, indicative of its concentration. The nose is notably more intense, featuring dark raspberry fruit aromas. In this vintage, I find myself favoring Clos St-Jacques over its neighbor, Cazetiers. The wine exhibits a fine balance in its structure, with well-integrated oak complementing the smooth, supple, and deeply flavorful fruit profile.
