With a pale, browning color more like a 20-year-old Tawny, the 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Centenaire is another vintage that seems to have seen its best days. Scents of oyster sauce, caramel and nuts mark the nose, while the palate is still full-bodied and supple, but it lacks fruit at this point. Drink up. (JC 5/2022)
