Vosne Romanee Malconsorts 2021 (75 CL)

There are only five barrels of the 2021 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts, representing around one-third of a normal crop for Cathiard. Offering up aromas of cherries, orange zest, raspberries, sweet spices and petals, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and structured, with powdery tannins and a serious, reserved profile. This is generally one of the slowest evolving wines in the cellar, and that's the case this year. (WK, 1/2023)
