The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Les Clos de l'Orme has a light and relatively "airy" bouquet compared to Cathiard's other cuvées this year, well-defined with vivid red fruit laced with orange pith. The palate is medium-bodied with good weight, though the 50% new oak seems to impose itself strongly on the finish. Hopefully, that will be absorbed during the élevage, but I'll remain prudent for now. By Neal Martin November 2023
