Charvin CNDP 2020 DEMI (37.5 CL)

Charvin's 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape doesn't look like the strongest vintage ever at this estate. but perhaps it will fill out and deepen with a bit more time in the bottle (this is a wine that often does). A tank-aged blend of 82% Grenache. 5% each Mourvèdre and Syrah and 4% each Counoise and Vaccarèse. it's slightly lifted and peppery. with hints of cherries and raspberries on the nose. then medium to full-bodied on the palate.
