Deep, bright-hued violet. Highly perfumed, mineral-accented cherry liqueur, cassis, candied licorice, incense and black pepper aromas show outstanding clarity and floral lift. Stains the palate with intense black and blue fruit, smoky bacon, star anise and floral pastille flavors that possess unlikely energy for their depth. The mineral and floral notes drive a strikingly long, vibrant finish that showcases resonating cherry, floral and mineral notes.

Shimmering ruby color. Smoky mineral and potpourri nuances and a hint of incense complement expansive blackberry, kirsch, olive paste and exotic spice scents. Juicy and deeply concentrated, offering sappy, dark berry preserve, spicecake, espresso and violet pastille flavors that show fine definition and mineral thrust. Comes off impressively lithe for its depth, finishing sweet and extremely long, with repeating spiciness and polished tannins that sneak in late.
