Clos du Caillou Reserve 2017 (75 CL)
Penetrating streaks of blackberry jam and fig are ignited by whispers of cinnamon, smoke and clove in this 55-45 blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre sourced from the sandy La Guigasse and Pignan vineyards. It's an undulating, mouthwatering sip but finishes on square footing with a brace of fine-grained, integrated tannins. Just starting to show it's nuances, this stunner has decades of fine drinking ahead. Anna Lee C. Iijima" - 97/100, Wine Enthusiast

A terrific example of this cuvée, the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Quartz is an 80-20 blend of Grenache and Syrah, matured in used demi-muids and used barrels, respectively. Scents of crushed stone accent cherries and raspberries on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is bolstered by silky tannins, ample concentration and exemplary length. JC 9/2023
