Bonnes Mares 2018 (75 CL)

"The 2018 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru has a nicely detailed, open-knit bouquet of blackberry, briar, crushed chalk and light violet aromas, not overly complex but focused. The palate is framed by chalky tannins and crisp black fruit, although I feel the finish is a little static at the moment, especially when compared to Les Amoureuses (poured after the Bonnes-Mares)."
