"The 2020 Musigny Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru has a pure nose with black and blueberry fruit and a little more new oak than its peers, and it doesn't have the same amplitude. Blood orange hints later appear. The palate is medium-bodied with high-toned new oak. The 2020 presents polished, well-judged natural acidity, a little spicier towards the second half, with white pepper notes becoming prominent towards the finish. There is a linearity behind this wine that I really like. Excellent. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting."
