Overview

The 2021 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru comprises two barrels this year instead of the usual three. This has a lovely open-knit, quite mineral-driven bouquet with a little more Pinoté than the Clos de la Roche. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, a touch more concentration here with gentle grip on the slightly creamy yet persistent finish. Bon vin!

"The 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis Village is tightly wound on the nose, yet there is a little more fruit concentration vis-à-vis the preceding Chambolle-Musigny. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, quite lively with a delineated, black pepper tinged finish that urges you back for more.
