The savoury 2020 Vin de Pays de l'Hérault Rouge opens with black fruit touched by kirsch, sun-drenched forest strawberry and earthy nuances, all carried by a hallmark of Mediterranean spiciness. A crushed rock note adds a retro-nasal mineral edge. There is a certain warm-vintage flamboyance here, yet the medium- to full-bodied 2020 remains beautifully light on its feet as fine-grained tannins impart gentle structure. L3 – N°0578.
