The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Le Clos d'Eugénie includes 40% whole bunches this vintage. It has a backward nose, the fruit darker than on the Vosne Villages, crushed stone filtering through the dark red fruit. Very tight. The palate is medium-bodied with a sapid entry, touches of oyster shell complementing the cranberry and raspberry fruit on the finish that will hopefully gain a tad more persistence.
