Overview

The 2023 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru has a very precise and mineral-driven bouquet, the limestone soils percolating through the pixelated dark berry fruit with just a hint of white pepper and licorice. The palate is beautifully balanced with supple tannins, wonderful weight and depth, and a vibrant, peppery, multi-faceted finish that holds you in a trance. This Ruchottes-Chambertin will knock your socks off.

96 POINTS

The 2023 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru is once again one of the high points of the range, offering up a pure and ethereal bouquet of sweet dark berries mingled with peonies, bergamot, rose petals and exotic spices. Full-bodied, suave and mineral, it's beautifully integrated and elegant, with ultra-refined tannins, lively acids and a long, floral finish. By William Kelley January 2025
