Domaine Hubert Lamy Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Derrière Chez Edouard 2023

The 2023 Saint-Aubin Derrière Chez Edouard 1er Cru comes from vines on white marl soil, planted between 1985 and 2001. It has a harmonious bouquet with touches of shucked oyster shell infusing the green apple scents and a touch of dewy meadow. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, though I am just missing a little mineralité and terroir expression on the finish due to the growing season. Fine but I preferred the 2022 a year earlier.
