The 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Village is matured in 25% new oak. This has a concentrated bouquet for the vintage with a slight petrolly aroma that does not deviate it away from Burgundy typicité. The palate is taut and fresh, perhaps the oak just a little pronounced at the moment and controlling the finish. Therefore give this a couple of years in bottle just to soak that up.
