The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru, which contains around 40% whole bunch, is very well-defined on the nose with brambly red fruit, wilted rose and iris petals, hints of undergrowth, thyme and rosemary emerging with time. The palate is well balanced, sporting a very subtle garrigue-like element that becomes accentuated both on the nose and palate with time. Tender on the finish. Superb. By Neal Martin March 2022
