Overview

The 2022 Chablis Fôret 1er Cru has a cohesive and quite compelling bouquet: citrus peel, gunflint, a little more reductive than Raveneau's other cuvées but gaining intensity with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a crisp entry, quite taut, linear and stricter than I expected with an uncompromising saline finish. Excellent.
