Hosanna 2010 (75 CL)
95/100 Falstaff. Tasted: Feb 2016. Dark ruby, purple reflections, slightly watery rim. Attractive blackberry fruit, nuances of cassis and liquorice in the background, delicate sloe, fine herbal savouriness, some nougat, a multi-faceted and inviting bouquet. Juicy, compact, silky tannins, pronounced fruit and very persistent, ripe cherry on the finish, fine touch of dried plum and chocolate on the finish, it has definite development potential.
Wine Advocate
Deep garnet colored, the 2010 Hosanna gives up baked black cherries, dried mulberries and fruitcake scents with hints of fragrant earth, baking spices and dried roses. Full-bodied, the palate has impressive freshness and lovely, ripe, plush tannins supporting the spicy fruit, finishing with great length. (LP, 3/2020)
