Overview

A riper, full-bodied, sexy Hosanna, the 2022 Château Hosanna checks in as 76% Merlot and 24% Cabernet Franc, coming from a tiny 4.5 hectares of blue clay soils on the upper plateau in Pomerol. Ripe blackberries, smoked tobacco, chocolate, and graphite notes all define the aromatics, and it has a wealth of fruit, a rich, unctuous mouthfeel, sweet tannins, and a blockbuster finish. Its tannins are just about completely covered by its massive fruit, but this will benefit from 7-8 years of bottle age (you'll be excused for drinking a bottle today) and have three decades of longevity.

prilOffering up aromas of blackberries, minty blackcurrants, licorice and spices, the 2022 Hosanna is full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a broad, velvety attack that segues into a layered, fleshy mid-palate of ripe but lively fruit that's framed by polished tannins.
