Kiedricher Grafenberg Spatlese 2002

Light color. Rich, powerful, dramatic, complex bouquet with laser beam precision. We pick up notes of smoke, petrol, minerals, and green apple. Equally impressive in the mouth; very flashy with a kaleidoscope of fruit flavors rooted in botrytis, notably lingonberries. It’s rich and perfectly balanced, yet manages to come across with elegance and finesse. Everyone in the room is impressed with this Spatlese, which features a very long finish that just takes off.
