The 2016 Les Hauts Bois is showing beautifully, offering up aromas of sweet cassis, wild berries, charcoal and violets, framed by a very discreet touch of new oak. Medium to full-bodied, suave and seamless, it's effortless and complete, with a deep core of fruit, sweet, powdery tannins and a vibrant spine of acidity. This has a bright future ahead of it.
