A blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay, the NV Réserve Brut from Champagne Leclerc Briant is showing well today, evoking a lively, fresh bouquet of pear, verbena, lime tree, herbs and menthol. Moderately weighted and tense, it's vinous and energetic with an incisive mid-palate and a mouthwatering, fresh finish. Based on the 2020 vintage with only 5% vins de réserve, it was disgorged in October 2023 with 4.5 grams per liter dosage.

The NV Extra Brut Réserve is exclusively based on the 2021 vintage. This wine is a blend of 42% Pinot Noir, 33% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Meunier and was aged for 32 months on lees. The nose offers fresh, crunchy, tart red apple, making this immediate and appetizing. The palate perfectly mirrors the nose, with tender, tart yet juicy apple flesh and real purity. The mousse is remarkably fine on a juicy, taut and bright body that reverberates with energy and life, presenting a beautiful apple character. Dosage is 4.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: March 2025.
