Our first bottle of the 2005 Dom Pérignon Rosé, served from Methuselah, is a fabulous aperitif for this lunch and vertical tasting. It's ample and generous, a welcome embrace right out of the gate. Floral and spice notes wrap around a core of radiant fruit, with the Pinot very much front and center. We are off to the races.

Offering up aromas of orange rind, dried white flowers and fresh pastry mingled with nuances of smoke and iodine, the 2005 Dom Pérignon Rosé is medium to full-bodied, vinous and fleshy, with a rich core of fruit complemented by sapid nuances that lend the wine interesting gastronomic potential.
