Overview

The Montevertine 2023 Montevertine is a blend of 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Colorino. This is a very pretty and elegant wine with a bright, vertical delivery and delicate aromas of blue flower, violet and small berry fruit. The wine remains fine and graceful throughout, showing lovely precision and freshness. With vinification and aging in cement and large oak casks, some 23,000 bottles were made.

The 2023 Montevertine is elegant, polished and supremely beautiful. It's a mid-weight Montevertine that will drink well on release. Supple fruit and soft tannins are the signatures of a wine that is already approachable. Cedar, spice and pipe tobacco lend aromatic presence.
