"The 2022 Riesling Wiltinger Braune Kupp Auslese was made from almost fully botrytised fruit. The nose frames alluring tart red apple notes with hints of iron oxide and crushed oxalis leaves. The next sniff brings a full load of ripe, juicy, tart stone fruit. The palate is citrus-sweet, adding passionfruit and lemon tartness to yellow peach compote. It is rounded, almost gilded with sweetness, but always countered by that textural cooked peach and edged with lemon. (Sweet)"
