Overview

I found the 2022 Nit de Nin Mas d’en Caçador to be very closed and austere, a little shy, serious and harmonious. The palate is very solid, seamless and powerful with really refined and elegant tannins. It was produced with a blend of 66% Garnacha, 31% Cariñena and 3% white varieties. As much as I liked the 2021, I think 2022 is a more complete and serious wine. It's still young and undeveloped and should be long lived. 2,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2024.

The 2022 Nit De Nin Mas d'En Caçador from Porrera, Priorat, blends Garnatxa and Garnatxa Peluda with 28% Carignan. Expressive aromas of cherry, morello, pomegranate, rose and a trace of bitter orange with a sanguine note lead the way. Intense, juicy and lightly tannic, it shows perfect ripeness with delicate fruit and depth of flavor. The finish lingers with fresh fruit.
