The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Les Petits Monts 1er Cru has a lovely, very well-defined bouquet of ebullient red cherries, crushed strawberry and rose petal aromas. The palate is medium-bodied and quite savory, with lithe tannins, well-judged acidity and hints of dried blood and spicebox toward the finish, which lingers nicely. Excellent. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2017 tasting.

The 2017 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Petits Monts displays a beautiful bouquet of sweet wild berries, candied peel and violets, complemented by deeper bass notes of raw cocoa and rich soil tones.
