Bourgogne Rouge 2020 (75 CL)

Bursting with aromas of sweet red berries, peonies, orange zest and spices, Pillot's 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos Saint-Jean Rouge is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and seamless, with a layered, complete profile, melting tannins and a perfumed finish. This parcel is cultivated with a lot of manual work, including "tressage" instead of hedging, representing something of a passion project for Thierry. (WK, 1/2023)
