A village wine—a category that doesn't yet exist, but it will—the 2023 Com Tu is a red from the village of La Figuera. This is the first year when the wine was produced 100% in concrete, basically because of the low yields. But René Barbier liked the result, and in 2024 and 2025, he also did it 100% in concrete. It's from the same three plots as a village red from La Figuera in Montsant, from a higher-altitude place with different soils, limestone and clay. It fermented with 50% full clusters and 50% destemmed grapes. It's floral and fruit-driven, fresher than the 2022, more Garnacha, varietal, clean and focused. It's medium-bodied, fine-boned, fresh and balanced, with elegant tannins. 7,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2025. By Luis Gutiérrez May 2026
