The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques offers up aromas of plums, berries, orange zest, vine smoke, loamy soil and creamy oak. Medium to full-bodied, supple and charming, with good depth at the core, powdery tannins and bright acids, it's a strong effort. (WK, 1/2023)
