The 2020 Il Pino di Biserno is bold and ripe with creamy blackberry, candied cherry, spice and tarry smoke. There are pressed roses, blood oranges and tea leaves buried deep inside. The tannins are pronounced, but this full-bodied Tuscan red is almost ready to go straight out of the gate. The blend is Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. (ML 7/2022)
