The 2020 Altenberg Alte Reben GG is clear, bright, fresh and precise on the nose, with concentrated and flinty fruit aromas and notes of broken slate. Silky, crystalline and juicy on the palate, this is a very intense but filigreed and highly finessed Altenberg with a long and aromatic, salivating and highly stimulating finish. A gorgeous Altenberg again that reveals outstanding finesse. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August 2021. (SR 9/2021)
