"Compared to the Vieilles Fontaines, Voge's 2019 Cornas Chapelle Saint Pierre is slightly less impressive, although it offers more freshness and redder fruit. Hints of mint, violets and red plums mark the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is silky and moderately concentrated. From a younger parcel planted atop the appellation and matured 20 months in only older barrels, this wine offers fine balance and drinkability but remains less profound than the Vielles Fontaines. "
