Deep ruby. Heady aromas of cherry liqueur, cassis, violet and olive are sharpened by a smoky mineral quality. Juicy and nicely concentrated, showing very good depth to the smoke-tinged dark berry, cherry cola and floral pastille flavors. Finishes with strong, mineral-tinged persistence, harmonious tannins and repeating smokiness.

In addition to the stellar lineup from Cornas, Voge releases a terrific Saint Joseph. All from the Les Cotes lieu-dit outside of Mauves, the 2015 Saint Joseph Les Côtes sports a deep purple color as well as lots of black and blue fruits, some forest floor and tapenade notes, a ripe, sexy, voluptuous style on the palate, and terrific purity of fruit.
