The 2017 Saint Joseph Les Cotes comes from a parcel in Mauves owned by former general manager Albéric Mazoyer. All destemmed. it spent 16 months in only older oak. Violets and pepper mark the blueberry-scented nose. followed by a palate that's medium to full-bodied. creamy and supple without any heaviness. It's fresh and tremendously drinkable. with a fresh. silky finish. Tasted twice (once blind). with consistent notes. (JC. 12/2019)
