Overview

The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru has a refined bouquet, eschewing the opulence of this vineyard for something more cerebral - a mixture of red and black fruit, violet and hints of loam. The palate is medium-bodied with a gorgeous, velvety entry. It has the depth of the En Orveaux, yet there is more body and precision on the finish. It fans out wonderfully on the aftertaste and lingers long in the mouth. Superb.

Another of the more large-scaled wines in the range is the 2022 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots, a medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy effort redolent of baked plums, sweet red berries and orange zest mingled with petals, spices and creamy new oak.
